Grace Gunning has been crafting boxes from stained glass, fabric, copper foiling and sheets since childhood.Inspired by the antique metal forming machines with which she does her work, and by a sense of wonder and whimsy, she creates reliquary boxes to hold your most beloved treasures. The designs use images from art, photography, and bits of glass, pearl, and velvet, and feature components that roll and move when the lid is opened or closed. Each is made with love and care in upstate New York, by the banks of the Hudson River.
